ArchivesOne, Inc. Acquires Secure Data Storage of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Acquisition is Second in Florida

WATERBURY, CT and FORT LAUDERDALE/ SEPT 1, 2005 - Waterbury-based ArchivesOne, Inc, the third largest records management and storage company in the U. S., announced today the purchase of Secure Data Storage of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The acquisition is ArchivesOne's fourth in 2005 and 24th since its inception in 1991 by its president and founder, A.J. Wasserstein.

The purchase marks ArchivesOne's second acquisition in Florida in the past 5 months. The company first entered South Florida in early March, when it acquired Sterling Records Management of Boynton Beach. That deal gave the company its first foothold in the South and added about 400 customers and 28 Team Members. ArchivesOne more recently acquired Starpoint Global Services of Raleigh, NC in July, filling in their geographical gap. Prior to that, the company's southernmost location was Springfield, VA.

Today's transaction of Secure Data Storage adds approximately 225 customers to ArchivesOnes existing client base in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Nine Team Members from Secure Data Storage will join ArchivesOne, as well as over 1 million cubic feet of storage space.
