ARCHIVESONE ACQUIRES GUARDIAN RECORDS MANAGEMENT
OF FT. LAUDERDALE
Acquisition Marks ArchivesOne’s Third Purchase in South Florida
MIDDLEBURY, CT / OCTOBER 16, 2006 - ArchivesOne, Inc., the third largest records management and storage company in the U.S., announced the purchase of Guardian Records Management of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The acquisition marks the 31st company that ArchivesOne has purchased in the U.S. records storage and management industry since 1991. The purchase is also the third acquisition in South Florida where the company operates records management centers in Boynton Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
ArchivesOne has raised $100 million in capital to fund its growth program from various institutional creditors and equity firms. The company plans to expand its geographic footprint as well as further penetrate its current marketplaces. “We plan on doing one or two more acquisitions in 2006,” commented ArchivesOne CFO, Scott Brabant.
“The Guardian acquisition allows ArchivesOne to expand its market share in the important South Florida market”, said Jon D’Elia, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for ArchivesOne. “By integrating Guardian’s records inventory into our existing records management operations in Boynton Beach, we will be able to solidify our customer service base in South Florida, which fits in nicely to our expansion in the southeastern United States,” added D’Elia. |
