While in our custody, they’re stored in environmentally controlled facilities and protected by multiple levels of security, including fully screened security personnel, card-key access, and video surveillance.

PC Data Protection

It’s a fact of life that mobile and remote workers rarely back up their PCs and laptops. PC Data Protection service from Iron Mountain provides a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy solution to this universal problem.

With this service, PC data is automatically backed up online, on a scheduled basis, with no intervention required by IT staff or the user. Data is encrypted at the point of backup and transmitted to a secure Iron Mountain site, where it is safely vaulted and always available for recovery purposes.

End users can quickly recover from common mishaps such as accidental file deletions and viruses. With just a few mouse clicks, a user can restore lost or damaged files to any computer with an Internet connection.

Delivered using patented Connected ® Backup for PC and Mac software, this offering is available as a managed service or a licensed software solution.

Server Data Protection

With vast quantities of data now residing in remote offices and locations – where it is often poorly protected – backup of distributed data has become an important challenge for government IT organizations. Critical server data is backed up securely, automatically, and consistently - and safely vaulted offsite at an Iron Mountain facility. eMail Continuity Service

During any given year, there’s a 75 percent chance that a government entity will be hit by an email outage, with the average outage lasting 32 hours. The Iron Mountain eMail continuity service provides you with a standby email system that can be activated in less than 60 seconds following a network interruption, facilities outage, or other event that disables email.

Working from any web browser, users can immediately send and receive messages from their standard email address. Because messages never bounce, email outages are transparent to citizens, partners, and others outside your agency.
